CAUSE--A Higher Ed. Information Technology Management Association
Through annual surveys, CAUSE collects information from colleges and universities about the campus computing environment. CAUSE is an international repository for data on information technology in higher education. While there are numerous surveys on various aspects of information technology in higher education, such as academic computing, library IT, and telecommunications, the CAUSE Institution Database is the most comprehensive, with data on information technology throughout the campus.

The Coalition for Networked Information, a joint project of the Association of Research Libraries, CAUSE, and EDUCOM, promotes the creation of and access to information resources in networked environments in order to enrich scholarship and to enhance intellectual productivity. Roughly 175 organizations and institutions are members of the Coalition Task Force.

The MSU Libraries consist of a Main Library, located on West Circle Drive, and 14 branch libraries at various campus locations.

The MSU Libraries have holdings of over 2.9 million volumes. Including government documents, holdings total over 3.8 million volumes. Not included in these counts are non-book materials, including microforms, computer files, and maps.

The MSU Libraries are a member of the Michigan Research Libraries Triangle or MRLT (University of Michigan, Michigan State University and Wayne State University) and the CIC Libraries (Chicago, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Northwestern, Penn State, Purdue, Wisconsin)Madison, Michigan and MSU).

This is the Internet Gopher server at the National Institutes of Health. This server is a network based computer service operated by the Division of Computer Research and Technology (DCRT) to distribute information for and about the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Specifically this server provides Internet access to information about NIH health and clinical issues, NIH funded grants and research projects, and a variety of research resources in support of NIH intramural scientists. Most of the information offered by the NIH Gopher Server is available to the Internet community at large.
