Dear Sir:
As an expatriate guinean living in the USA since the late sixties, I found your summary informative despite the lack of substance. One would have liked to see more pages devoted to the relations between Guinea and the USA and the rest of the world than its relations with France. It is precisely because of this paradigme that the Guinean leaders have failed to achieve what one would have hoped they would 10 years after the death of former dictator Sekou Toure.
The relation of Guinea with other nations of the world is more important to Guinea than most people think.
