I own a Renault 19 RN 1993 mpi version 1.4 l.

1. How do I remove & adjust my clutch cable?
2. If i replace a clutch assembly, do i need to remove the whole sub  frame?
3. How do I go about replacing the clutch assembly?

This is the 2nd time the clutch cable broke in 2 months, the previous 
mechanic did a bubble gum solution (he had used masking tape to hold the 
clutch cable together) to my car and now I have this problem. If I would 
to drive back to the mechanic, I think i would be charged a bomb to get 
it done. Going back to Renualt authorised mechanic will cost me more. 
Therefore I hope you could help me to solve this problem because I have 
already spent alot of $ to get it done.=20

If it is not a problem with you, could you provide me with a step by 
step guide on the proper installation of the clutch. Your help is 
greatly appreciated!
