The three Canadian civil society delegates are not there yet. The main 
events are quite closed, and although accredited, the three of us will not 
likely be present for many of the main hall events. We will provide 
liaison for civil society with our own delegation as far as possible next 
week and look forward to seeing many of you in Geneva.

In this connection, on December 7th, the eCommons/agora project (national 
not for profit panCanadian public space network) will complement the many 
other international and thematic efforts and launch a C2C dialogue CàC web 
space in order to report back from Geneva, and monitor WSIS, world press, 
and events from a Canadian perspective. Send us links, resources or 
suggestions in advance if you like to wsis-smsi@ecommons.net. We will 
feature forums, RSS feed, news reports, directory of Canadian 
participants, links, background, events and more.
There is so much taking place that we need to have a Canada specific 
discussion and exchange space, so that we can build awareness and action 
from Geneva to Tunis.

the launch and dialogue service. This is a work in progress in response to 
the lack of information in Canada regarding the Summit, and need to 
communicate back to the many who are unable to attend. Thanks to all of 
those who have agreed to become contributing editors, on both sides of the 
pond, and to Canadian Commission for Unesco for seed support and our own 
volunteers (eLab, McLuhan global research network, eCommons/agora).

Le 7 décembre prochain, le projet eCommons/Agora (espace public sans but 
lucratif, réseau national pan-canadien) soulignera plusieurs autres 
efforts internationaux et thématiques et lancera l’espace web C2C dialogue 
CàC pour diffuser les comptes-rendu de Genève. Ainsi, il sera possible de 
suivre la presse mondiale, les développements du SMSI et de comprendre les 
événements d’un point de vue canadien. Nous aurons des forums, des 
nouvelles, un bottin des participants canadiens, des liens, des événements 
et plus encore.
Il y a tellement de mouvement qu’il est devenu nécessaire d’avoir un 
espace spécifique au Canada réservé aux discussions et aux échanges pour 
susciter la prise de conscience et la mise en action de Genève à Tunis.

d’information sur le lancement du dialogue. Ce projet évolutif est une 
réponse au manque d’information au Canada sur le Sommet et au besoin de 
diffuser cette information avec ceux qui ne peuvent y assister. Merci à

côtés de l’océan, ainsi qu’à la Commission canadienne pour l’UNESCO pour 
leur support.
