THIS IS A NEW PARTNER SEARCH

EURITIS intents to participate to the next INFOSEC call for tenders and is
looking for its integration into a consortium under contruction.

1- EURITIS Profile

Euritis is a software publishing SME of 24 people highly specialised in the
IPR (Copyright, intellectual property right, ...) management and by
consequence in many domains of security.

Euritis is closely cooperating with Gemplus and is representing Gemplus for
many application and middleware development projects. Euritis has its own
marketing capability and has already a good customer base.

2- Background and findings

Euritis has contributed to more than 6 Esprit projects in the IPR management
area. JF Boisson (CEO) was the project coordinator of the CITED project
which was the 1rst approach in this area. Currently in cooperation with
Gemplus and Phoenix, Euritis will nearly launch COPYSMART which is a product
and an architecture suitable for IPR management at low cost and for a wide
dissemination.

For Copysmart purpose and implentation in some vertical business sectors,
Euritis has implemented PUBLIC KEY management, Digital signature, TTP,
encryption, ... as well as an economical model in various sectors. Euritis
has had strong cooperation with legal advisors and advanced users. The
Copysmart architecture for Web environment has been worked with the W3C to
be compliant with the Web architecure and standarts.

3- Proposal for cooperation

Euritis proposes to :

- investigate the openess of the IPR architecture to a wider and more
generalised PK and trust architecture
- carry its business and requirement expertises of the intangible material
electronic commerce, such as music, video, library, education, art works, ...
- refine the cost model and the technology changes to be made for a wider
dissemination
- validate IPR architecture on such new trusted infrastructure
- implement the 'chain of trust' in other areas. Chain of trust means right
exchange, gateways and interoperability of IPR management systems (ECMS)

- provide to the consortium Gemplus hardware products and softwares at
special tarif and conditions  for european projects, as well as technologies
from other projects.

4- Conclusions

For many aspects of this call, Euritis could offers its long and robust
expertise derivated to both industrialisation of product, application
implementation, and in general its own technology background.
